On 10 April 2010 it was a Paschal Assembly in Veliki Radić near Bosanska Krupa.

This is the its fourth year since it was established, every year on Paschal Saturday (Saturday before St.Thoamas Sunday), and by the blessing of His Grace Bishop Chrysostom of Bihać and Petrovac had started in 2007 .

Assembly has begun with the Holy Liturgy, protopreybzter Karađorđe Derajić the parih priest have served the Divine Liturgy which many faithful people from Veliki Radić attended.

After the Liturgy of the traditional "Tucijada" The Paschal Eggs mashing contest  on which this year fifteen years old Rade Mijatovic from Veliki Radić won .

The winner is rewarded with a 50KM, second and third place is rewarded with comforting prise.

Celebration of Pascha on 2nd and 3 day is continued throughout the Diocese of Bihać Petrovac. On the third day of Pascha or Easter His Eminence Bishop Chrysostom of Bihać and Petrovac with the priesthood served in unfinished church of Christ the Savior in Oštra Luka. The construction of this beautiful and magnificent temple begun less than 4 years ago. Indeed, although still incomplete is decoration of Oštra Luke and entire region of Sana. Whoever passes on main road from Prijedor to Sanski Most, and vice versa remains amazed monumentality and of the temple beauty.
In the sermon Bishop stressed of the truth of the Christs resurrection, on whome the faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is found . ....''Today we heard in the Gospel how heart of Christ disciples have burne, while He was with them and explain to them the scriptures. Indeed - heart of Luke and Cleopas have felt God closely and burned with the zeal to testify the Resurrected Christ.

The children, youth, young and old celebrated the Pascha in St. Sava Church in Drvar. At the beginning of the return of expelled Serbs from Drvar to their hometown in 1998  Bishop Chrysostom of Bihac and Petrovac with the former parish administrator Hieromonk Sergius Karanovic, monk of the monastery Rmanj, in cooperation with Ms. Mira Lukac from Drvar, created the cultural and folk program of the first Paschal gathering in  Drvar. Indeed, at that time it was difficult to start in discrimination circumstances but it was worth it. Since then, every year, this became a cultural event. God willing in 2011 the Paschal gathering in Drvar, according to Bishop Chrysostom will be included in the cultural event of national significance and will be elevated to a higher level.

As in previous years in a crowded temple of St. Sava in Drvar Paschal Vespers has been served. This unique vespers in the liturgical order of our Church is served by HisEminence Bishop Chrysostom of Bihac and Petrovac with the parish priests, and and monks from the surrounding parishes and monasteries Rmanj and Klisina. This custom of serving the  Paschal vespers in Drvar Bishop Chrysostom started  in 1998. Today it is a tradition of Drvar.

This year, apart from reading  the Holy Gospel in Serbian, it is read in: Church Slavonic, English and German language. At the end of the Vespers Bishop greeted everyone the Pascha greeting  and distribute the Paschal eggs. After the service in front of the temple- traditional  program folowed that took members of the CAA from Drvar. At the beginning of the program Bishop Chrysostomos welcomed all the participants in the church courtyard in front of St. Sava Church.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Joining the greetings words of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Ireneious,  we as the Church of God in Grahovo, we would like to congratulate you  the greatest Christian Feast, the Resurrection of Christ. On behalf of S.O.C.in Grahovo, Peći and Predeoc as your priest and prayer before the Lord, congratulate you this Feast of Feasts, joy of joys, with words of hope and love.
CHRIST IS RISEN!
Congratulating you this great feast, I do not want this to be a phrase, my wish is to address you as your priest, spiritual father, as one who is from the Church of the Lord and who is caled to teach you the truths of the life of the Church .

This is the second year of celebrating the Resurrection of Christ in the monastery which is rising from the ashes. Entire passionate week before Pascha the faithful were coming  to be gloated by liturgical texts that speak of the suffering of our Savior and to contemplate how it all happened at that time in Jerusalem.
Particular joy  was on the very morning on Pascha matins which began at 5.00am after which Divine Liturgy followed. Dozens of faithful have received the Holy Communion, after preparing for the Feast for forty days of fasting and spiritual trembling to be rejoiced of this day. During the service blessing of paschal eggs and cheese followed.
After the Holy service a festive meal is arranged which had become a tradition, after every service that is served in the Monastery for all that can remain on the branch. We lay our hope in Risen Lord to help his servants to build and rise this Brotherhood, for the glory of the Risen God and for the salvation of our souls

Throughout the Diocese of Bihac-Petrovac, in all parish churches and monasteries, Paschal matins and Divine Liturgy is served on the greatest Christian feast  Pascha. Paschal joy is felt all around us. What in particular joy is the fact that the Serbian people of Krajina, which was for decades, even centuries had been neglected, and therefore spiritually handicapped,  from year to year quality of spiritual life is renewed through the sacraments of repentance and Holy Communion. Certainly that devoted priests of the Diocese havecontributed the most.  In  the last ten years, dozen of old destroyed, burned, devastated churches have been restored , but also newly built churches, more than in the past 100 years. It is primarily the result of efforts of Bishop Chrysostom, clergy and people of good will who have responded to the call.

My heart pains over the terrorist acts at the Moscow Metro this morning. I am praying for the rest of the victims’ souls, for consolation of their near and dear, and for the soonest recovery of the wounded. I beseech the Lord to help the rescuers, medical workers, and all who are trying to alleviate the consequences. I have instructed clergymen to visit the injured persons in hospitals.

Unfortunately, this terrorist act is not the first committed in Russia in recent months. We see clearly that peril is lying in wait for all of us at any minute.

However, we should not respond to it by fear, panic, or animosity. Let our response by the unity of our people, their strong will to stop the terrorists and those who support, finance, or justify them. God’ retribution will come to them. I believe that human justice will not be a long time coming, too.

GREAT FRIDAY is the most solemn day of Holy Week. In awe and trembling, we stand before the Cross on which our Savior died and we see the image of Him dead, lying in our midst, on the Epitaphios (the Winding Sheet).

During the Service of Matins, which by anticipation is chanted on Thursday evening, we will hear some of the most compunctionate hymns of the ecclesiastical year. When Friday dawned, Jesus was sent bound from Caiaphas to Pontius Pilate, who was then Governor of Judea. Pilate interrogated Him in many ways, and once and again acknowledged that He was innocent, but, to please the Jews, he later passed the sentence of death against Him. After scourging the Lord of all as though He were a runaway slave, he surrendered Him to be crucified.
