His Grace Bishop of Bihac-Petrovac, Mr. Atanasiје on the evening of January 26, 2015, on the eve of the feast of the Holy Father Sava, The first Serbian Archbishop, in the gallery of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska, with the blessing of the bishop of Banja Luka Mr. Jefrem, participated in the opening of the exhibition named “Сведочим, само…” (Witness, just …), which are presented to the public personal belongings and items of the late Serbian Patriarch Pavle.
The exhibition was initiated by the Republican Secretariat for the Religions, Government of the Republic of Srpska headed by the director Mr. Dragan Davidovic, with the enthusiastic support of the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik, Academy of Arts and Sciences of the Republic of Srpska headed by academician Mr Rajko Kuzmanovic and the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Belgrade.
The exhibition was organized on the occasion of the centenary of the birth and the fifth anniversary of the death of the Serbian Patriarch Pavle..
The opening of the exhibition was attended by His Grace Bishop Slavonian Mr Jovan, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Mr. Nedeljko Cubrilovic, Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska Mr. Dane Malesevic, Consul General of Serbia in Banja Luka, Mr. Vladimir Nikolic, Director of the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Belgrade and many others.
Prior to the official opening of the exhibition, to arrived visitors spoke Mr. Dragan Davidovic, who announced the speech of Bishop Atanasije, who met Patriarch Pavle 1983 year in Kosovo and was an associate until death in November 2009. After the speech of Bishop Atanasijewho spoke of the holy life of the late Serbian Patriarch Pavle, indelible and always educational events with Patriarch Pavle, President of the Academy of Arts and Sciences of the Republic of Srpska Mr. Rajko Kuzmanovic opened the exhibition.
